The Americans with Disabilities Act (“ADA”) of 1990 is a civil rights law that requires Massport to ensure that persons with disabilities receive full and equal use of all of Massport’s public services and facilities.
Compliance with the ADA is an integral component of Massport’s customer service initiative. Full accessibility under the ADA also promotes customer service by making all ground transportation, airport and cruise terminals and other Massport facilities user-friendly for all travelers while ensuring that all customers are treated with dignity and respect.
All public programs and services provided by Massport must operate in compliance with Title II of the ADA and its implementing regulations.
Massport has designated the Office of Diversity & Inclusion/Compliance to coordinate efforts to comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act including investigating any complaints alleging noncompliance. The Authority has adopted a complaint grievance procedure to provide for prompt and equitable resolution of complaints.
