Massport offers nonstop express bus service to Boston Logan. All Logan Express buses are equipped with wheelchair lifts, are ADA compliant, and operate every 30 – 60 minutes. Although not required, if you will be using the lift, we recommend contacting the service provider below, in advance, so they may better assist you:
The MBTA Airport subway station is wheelchair accessible. Massport provides free shuttle bus service from Airport Station to all terminals and the Logan Water Shuttle dock.
The MBTA Silver Line rapid transit bus is wheelchair accessible and serves all airport terminals, the South Boston waterfront, and South Station.
If you’re visiting the Boston area and have a disability that prevents you from using the MBTA bus, subway, or trolley all or some of the time, you may be eligible to use The RIDE, the MBTA’s ADA Paratransit door to door service. Contact The RIDE Eligibility Center, Monday thru Friday, 8:30a.m. to 5 p.m. at 617-337-2727 or email us at theride@mbta.com. This service requires advanced notification and processing of your ADA Eligibility Certification paperwork.
A Massport dispatcher wearing a bright yellow vest outside the lower arrivals level of each terminal can assist with getting an accessible taxi/wheelchair van.
Harbor Express serves Boston and the South Shore. For more information call 617-222-6999.
Ride App/TNC's (such as Uber or Lyft) are allowed to pick up and drop off customers at the airport central garage. The central garage areas are fully ADA compliant, have wheelchair and other services available, and allow you to check your bag in the garage. However, passengers with self-identified disabilities that limit mobility continue to have the option of getting dropped off or picked up at terminal curbs 24 hours per day. For more information visit the accessible ride app procedures.
All car rental agencies provide hand controlled cars with 24 to 48 hour advance notice.
