Reimagining Boston Logan with You in Mind
A New Transportation Center at Terminal E: Designed for a Smoother, Smarter Journey
Logan Airport is transforming the way you arrive and depart with a new, multi-level transportation center at Terminal E that’s built for convenience, efficiency and sustainability. This isn’t just a garage — it’s a major upgrade to your travel experience.
What’s coming:
- 4,000 new parking spaces just steps from Terminal E, with direct connection to Central Parking for seamless access across terminals.
- Expanded curb space on lower levels dedicated to ride app and limo pickups and drop-offs — making it easier to meet your ride and get on your way.
- Solar panels on the facade and roof to help power the facility and support a greener, more energy-efficient Logan.
- Adjacent roadway improvements including:
- Dedicated HOV lanes for arriving and departing passengers
- A second curb to ease congestion and improve flow
- Additional travel lanes for faster, smoother access
Whether you're catching a flight or heading home, these enhancements are designed to make every part of your journey more convenient, comfortable and environmentally responsible.
Terminal E: Redefining the Arrival Experience
Big changes are coming to Terminal E’s international arrivals designed for speed, comfort and ease. From gate to curb, every upgrade puts passengers first.
New moving walkways will connect gates to the Customs and Border Protection (CBP) hall, cutting down travel time. Inside, expanded queue space, more inspection booths and additional restrooms mean faster, more comfortable processing.
At baggage claim, four new devices and modern handling equipment will speed up service and reduce wait times.
These aren’t just upgrades—they’re a better welcome to Boston.
Connecting Your Journey: Terminal A to B Connector
Soon, Logan passengers will enjoy seamless post-security access across all terminals. The new Terminal A–B Connector will link the two terminals on the secure side, making transfers faster and easier.
Travelers will no longer need to re-clear security—just smooth movement between terminals and full access to dining, shopping, and amenities throughout the airport.
The new connector will provide better circulation, more seating and new amenities. Additional improvements include new stairs, escalators and a modernized bus boarding area at the Terminal A Satellite, enhancing convenience every step of the way.
Airport-wide Escalator Improvements
A multi-phase escalator modernization project will improve safety, reliability and comfort for all passengers. The new state-of-the-art systems will reduce outages, enhance accessibility and support smoother movement through terminals to make travel faster and more convenient.
Terminal C: Improvements for a Better Journey
Boston Logan will soon elevate the Terminal C experience with upgrades designed for comfort, speed, and ease. Travelers will notice a larger Gate C10 hold room, a modernized security checkpoint and clearer wayfinding, all aimed at making your journey smoother from the start.
Refreshed restrooms and expanded gate areas will add to the convenience, creating a more welcoming space for every passenger.

Terminal C to E Roadway Improvements: A Better Way to Get Around
Getting between Terminals C and E will soon be quicker and easier. Improvements to the Terminal C–E roadways will streamline traffic, improve curbside access, and make the journey smoother for everyone.
Expect clearer signage, better traffic flow, and more accessible curb areas—all designed to reduce stress and keep you moving.

New wayfinding tools, including step-by-step directions in the FlyLogan app, are making it easier to get from curb to gate.
