General

Logan Express is a bus service that provides nonstop transportation between Boston Logan International Airport and five designated locations in Boston and surrounding suburbs, located in Back Bay (downtown Boston), Braintree (South Shore), Danvers (North Shore), Framingham (MetroWest), and Woburn (north of Boston).

Unlike taxis, rideshares, or public transit, Logan Express offers direct service with flat fares, luggage handling, and optional long‑term parking at suburban locations.

The five locations are Back Bay (downtown Boston), Braintree (South Shore), Danvers (North Shore), Framingham (MetroWest), and Woburn (north of Boston).

Back Bay: 20 – 30 minutes
Braintree: 35 -45 minutes
Danvers: 25-35 minutes
Framingham/Natick Mall: 35 -45 minutes
Woburn: 25-35 minutes

Please note: the time given is an estimate as times may vary due to traffic and/or other unpredictable factors.

We recommend passengers give themselves ample time when traveling. Passengers should plan to arrive early enough to reach Boston Logan International Airport at least two hours before domestic flights and three hours before international flights, allowing extra time for parking and boarding.

There is no limit on how much luggage passengers can bring on Logan Express. Logan Express can accommodate sporting gear and any other large items in the undercarriage space.

Logan Express operates daily with early‑morning departures and late‑night service, though exact hours vary by location and day of the week. You can find schedule information on our website. 

Yes, pets are allowed on Logan Express as long as they are properly secured.

Seat belts are required for drivers only on all school, transit and coach buses. Car and/or booster seats are not required for infants and toddlers riding Logan Express.

Except for Back Bay, restrooms are available at all other locations and on all other buses.

Logan Express is cashless. Convert your cash to a pre-paid Master Card at our Ready Credit Kiosk, at each location (except Back Bay) to pay for tickets and parking at Logan Express.

Free WIFI is available on all Logan Express buses.

Yes, Logan Express runs on holidays, but schedules and service frequency may be adjusted.

Yes, Logan Express runs seven days a week.  On holidays, schedules and service frequency may be adjusted. You can find schedule information on our website. 

Parking can fill up at Logan Express sites and parking availability typically varies throughout the week, especially during peak travel times (i.e Thanksgiving, Christmas, and school vacation weeks). Please visit our website for parking alerts.

Yes, the Framingham Logan Express location at 11 Burr Street is fully reopened and operates 24 hours a day following completion of renovations. 

During peak morning hours, Logan Express buses typically depart Framingham every 30 minutes, with early‑morning service beginning as early as 2:15 AM.

Duration can vary depending on traffic conditions. Typcially, it takes 20-30 minutes to get from Back Bay to Boston Logan on Logan Express. Please check traffic conditions when planning travel to the airport.

The typical travel time from Woburn Logan Express to Boston Logan Airport is approximately 30 to 45 minutes, depending on traffic conditions.

Yes, passengers can bring multiple pieces of luggage on the Logan Express Bus. There is no limit on the number of luggage pieces passengers may bring on Logan Express buses.

There are no set weight/size limits for luggage on Logan Express.  Logan Express can accommodate sporting gear and any other large items in the undercarriage space as space permits.

Yes, the Back Bay Logan Express allows strollers, bikes, and oversized luggage as space permits on the bus.

Logan Express buses drop passengers directly at the lower level of each Logan Airport terminal.

Yes, all Logan Express buses are fully wheelchair accessible, featuring lifts and designed to be ADA-compliant for travelers with disabilities.  Please see driver for assistance.

The two Back Bay Logan Express pickup locations are 800 Boylston Street near the Prudential Center and in front of the Dartmouth Street entrance to Copley Place, directly across from Back Bay Station.

Communities within about a 20‑minute drive of Framingham Logan Express include Framingham, Natick, Ashland, Marlborough, Wayland, Southborough, Hopkinton, and parts of Wellesley and Sudbury. 

Yes, the Framingham Logan Express station is easily accessible from the Massachusetts Turnpike (I‑90). 

The nearest Massachusetts Turnpike exit for Framingham Logan Express is Exit 117 (formerly Exit 13), which provides access to Route 30 and local roads leading to Burr Street. 

The Woburn Logan Express station is located at 100 Atlantic Avenue, Woburn, MA 01801, at the Anderson Regional Transportation Center.

Logan Express Woburn is most easily accessed via Interstate 93 and Interstate 95/Route 128.

The Danvers Logan Express is located at 300 Commonwealth Avenue, Danvers, MA 01923, within the Liberty Tree Mall property. 

From Route 128/I‑95, take the Liberty Tree Mall exit and follow signs to 300 Commonwealth Avenue, where Logan Express Danvers is located. 

Nearby North Shore communities near Danvers Logan Express include Danvers, Peabody, Salem, Beverly, Middleton, and Lynnfield.

Bus Ticketing

Logan Express accepts the following payment methods at Boston Logan: credit card, debit card, and online ticket purchases. Cash is not accepted at Logan Express at Boston Logan or other sites. Back Bay Logan Express is free from the airport. 

Logan Express accepts credit and debit card payments for both tickets and parking. Cash is not accepted at Logan Express.

Yes, you can take the next Logan Express bus with the same ticket if you miss your departure. There is no reservation date or time for Logan Express tickets. Tickets can be used for any date/trip time.

We encourage passengers to purchase tickets online prior to taking Logan Express service.

A one‑way trip from suburban Logan Express locations costs $9 when purchased online, with children 17 and under riding free with a ticketed adult.

Tickets can be purchased online in advance or at Logan Express ticket kiosks at station locations and Logan Airport. 

If you have your order number, the cashier at Logan Express will be able to reprint your tickets. If you do not have an order number, please email LoganExpress@massport.com.

There is no expiration date for Logan Express tickets.

There is no reservation date for Logan Express tickets. Tickets can be used for any date/trip time.

Tickets are valid for travel in either direction.

Tickets are site specific and not transferable across locations.  Tickets must reflect the correct location you desire to travel to/from.  Please email loganexpress@massport.com with your order # for assistance.

Children 17 or under can ride free with a ticketed family member.  When purchasing online, you must select an adult ticket, and you can select up to 3 child tickets free of charge.  If more than 3 children are travelling with a ticketed family member, you must see a cashier for additional child tickets. *For tickets purchased before 08/01/2025, where a child ticket is needed, you must see the cashier to obtain a free ticket.

Yes.  In the confirmation email, click the icon to add to your mobile wallet.

We do not support receiving tickets via SMS/text.

With valid identification, active military can ride free.  Please see the cashier.

Yes. You can create a free account to view current and past bus ticket orders.

Access/manage ticket purchases and save credit card information for faster checkout.

 You will receive an activation link to the email address you entered.

Before 08/01/2025 
Due to a system switchover, accounts created prior to 08/01/2025 will no longer be accessible and you will need to create a new account. For ticket information, please provide your order # to the cashier to have your tickets printed.  If you do not have your order # or have questions regarding your ticket information, please email loganexpress@massport.com.

After 08/01/2025
Confirm the email address and password.  When creating an account, the customer must click the activation link sent to them within twenty-four (24) hours of the account being created.

You will need to create a new account using the correct email address.

Please contact loganexpress@massport.com to have the confirmation resent to the correct email address. We will not be able to link the order to the correct email account.

For $75.00, the 10-ride passes are a single QR code that includes 10 one-way trips to and from Logan.  10 ride passes are valid for a singular passenger and cannot be shared. For example, 10 ride passes cannot be used for a husband and wife at the same time on the same bus trip. *10 ride tickets/passes are site specific and only valid for the LEX site they are purchased at.

Yes, currently we are offering an online discount. Ride each way for $9* when you purchase your Logan Express ticket online.

Parking

Parking is $7/per day at Logan Express.

Please note: Back Bay Logan Express does not offer parking.

There is no timeframe on the duration of stay at our Logan Express locations.

Currently, you are unable to reserve parking for Logan Express.

Framingham Logan Express offers preferred parking for Low Emitting/Fuel Efficient (LE/FE) and Alternative Fuel Vehicles (AFV). These spaces are located on levels 2-5.  

Vehicles eligible for the Low Emitting and Fuel Efficient parking spaces include those that achieve a minimum green score of 45 on the ACEEE annual vehicle rating guide or vehicles that are listed in the EPA SmartWay Elite Program database

To qualify for an alternative fuel vehicle space, a vehicle must be powered by 1 or more of the following: 

  • Electricity
  • Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG)
  • Propane (LPG)
  • Hydrogen (H2)
  • Biodiesel
  • Ethanol
  • Compressed air

Yes, Framingham Logan Express offers a multi‑level covered parking garage along with some open‑air parking.

The total cost to park at Logan Express Braintree for 7 days is $49. Parking costs $7 per day for seven days ($49 total), plus $9 each way for Logan Express bus service ($18 round‑trip), for a total cost of $67 to travel to and from Logan Express Braintree to Logan Airport and park for 7 days.  

No, Liberty Tree Mall is not associated with Logan Express. Logan Express parking is $7.00 per day. Pay upon entry for Danvers.
