Destination Worcester, the region's travel and tourism agency, will partner with the Worcester Regional Chamber of Commerce, Massport and the Greater Fort Lauderdale Convention and Visitors Bureau to host a trade show for travel professionals on March 13 at Worcester Regional Airport.
The show will feature the region's new airline, JetBlue, and dozens of exhibitors from Florida and New England, including Sea World Parks & Entertainment, Universal Orlando, Walt Disney World Resorts, the Massachusetts Golf Association and Sandals Hotels and Resorts. The educational forum will also include speakers from the Massachusetts Office of Travel and Tourism, Massport, Chelsea Nicole Public Relations, Cruiseport Boston, Hello Sunny of the Fort Lauderdale Convention & Visitors Bureau, as well as prizes, appetizers and giveaways.

Massport commissioned Frasca & Associates, L.L.C. to assess the ten year economic impacts anticipated from new airline service by Jetblue Airways and Massport’s current and future investments in the airport. The study examines the direct and induced aviation-related economic impacts these activities will have to the Central Massachusetts regional economy.
