Initiatives

Working together with government, community and civic leaders, Massport actively seeks to improve the quality of life for residents living near Massport’s facilities.

Without the sacrifices our neighbors make every day, Massport would be unable to deliver important transportation services to families and businesses throughout New England. Massport has undertaken several key initiatives to support our surrounding neighborhoods.

Cathy Leonard-McLean Community Room

The Cathy Leonard-McLean Community Room, previously the Noddle Island Community Room, was renamed in 2015 to honor the former Assistant Director of Massport’s Government and Community Affairs Department. A longtime Massport employee, Leonard-McLean was an advocate for change, both at Massport and in the East Boston community, and this community room continues to honor her legacy.

The Cathy Leonard-McLean Community Room is located on the lower level of the Rental Car Center at Boston Logan International Airport. It is available for use by community and civic organizations within Massport's impacted communities only. The room is available for use between 8:00 AM and 9:00 PM Monday through Friday, by reservation only.
