Massport Invites Public to Vote on New Signage for Boston Logan
We want YOU to take our sign survey
The overhead signage at Boston Logan International airport needs an upgrade, and the Massachusetts Port Authority (Massport) wants the public’s help in picking the new layout. Wayfinding signage at the airport has been one of the most mentioned issues amongst passengers and Massport is committed to updating it to make the passenger experience as smooth as possible.
“At Massport, we are going above and beyond to provide passengers with the experience they deserve and engaging the public in our efforts is a key part of that,” said Rich Davey, CEO of Massport. “We are continuing to roll out improvements across Boston Logan, and new, fresher signage will make it easier than ever for travelers to find their way and enjoy a comfortable, more seamless airport experience.”
People can go to @flylogan on Instagram to vote in the survey, and for the traveling public starting on January 20th staff will be in the terminals with tablets to show proposed signage and get passenger feedback. These responses will be used to pick the new wayfinding signage that will go up across the airport.
Throughout the last year, Massport has been launching new programs to improve the passenger experience at Boston Logan and make travel less stressful for all passengers. With programs like “BOS PAWS” that bring therapy dogs to the airport, free arcade machines in the terminals, “Live Music at Logan” and improved concessions, Massport is aiming to make the travel experience better for everyone. Massport has also launched a renovation program for the 10 worst bathrooms in the airport, is redesigning the Kidports across the terminals and connecting terminals A and B post security, making the airport fully linked for easy connections. This signage survey is another way to make navigation clearer and help passengers get through the airport with ease.
