The Massachusetts Port Authority ("Massport" or the "Authority") is soliciting Proposals from qualified companies, organizations or concessions operators interested in entering into a non-exclusive Concessions Agreement for the provision and operation of Food & Beverage and/or Personal Care Vending Machine services at the following Authority locations: Boston Logan International Airport; LG Hanscom Field in Bedford; Boston Fish Pier; Black Falcon Cruise Terminal; Braintree, Framingham and Peabody Logan Express Facilities; Cargo Facility Buildings and employee locations outlined within the document.
The term of the Lease Agreement is for five (5) years, commencing on August 1, 2004, and terminating at 11:59 p.m. on July 31, 2009
A pre-submission conference and site tour will be conducted Wednesday, April 21, 2004, at 10:30a.m. at the Logan Media Room, Logan International Airport, 2nd Floor Old Tower, East Boston, Massachusetts 02128-2909. All inquiries made at the conference will be answered either at that time, or following via a written faxed response to be distributed to all agencies that have been issued this RFP, by 5:00 pm on May 3, 2004
Proposals must be submitted in accordance with instructions on the RFP to the office of Mr. Michael Grieco, Assistant Secretary-Treasurer, Massachusetts Port Authority, Logan Office Center, One Harborside Drive, Suite 200S, East Boston, MA 02128-2909, no later than 2:00 p.m. EST on May 14, 2004

The Authority is soliciting competitive proposals pursuant to a determination that such a process best serves the interests of the Authority and the general public and not because of any legal requirement to do so. The Authority reserves the right to accept or to reject any or all proposals, for any reason, to withdraw or amend the RFP at anytime, to initiate negotiations with one or more Proposers, to modify or amend with the consent of the Proposer prior to acceptance, to waive any informality and to effect any agreement otherwise, all as the Authority in its sole judgment may deem to be in its best interest.
