The Massachusetts Port Authority (Massport) today announced that it has filed the 2007 Boston Logan International Airport Environmental Data Report (2007 EDR) with the Executive Office of Energy and Environmental Affairs, Massachusetts Environmental Policy Act Office (MEPA).

The 2007 EDR responds to the Secretary’s Certificate for the Boston Logan International Airport 2006 Environmental Data Report (EDR) and reports on the status of airport operations, environmental conditions, and Massport milestones achieved in 2007.

The EDR filing is followed by a 30-day public comment period that ends on October 24, 2008. A MEPA public consultation session for the 2007 EDR is scheduled for Thurs., Oct. 16, 2008 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., at the Logan Office Center, One Harborside Drive, East Boston, MA. Public comments on the EDR should be directed to the Secretary of Environmental Affairs and should reference the Logan 2007 EDR EOEA # 3247
