Logan Airport kicked-off the upcoming winter season by holding its annual Snow Parade. This event featured more than 50 vehicles and specialized pieces of equipment used by Logan Airport to keep its runways open throughout even the worst winter weather.

This year's parade was also an opportunity to showcase Logan Airport's "snow crews", who were recognized for Outstanding Achievement in Airport Snow and Ice Control by the American Association of Airport Executives. The award recognizes the dedicated efforts of "snow crews" in maintaining their airports in safe and operational status during the winter season.
