Massport will have more than 70 volunteers in the terminals helping passengers get through checkpoints and board their flights.
Plenty of parking will be available at Logan with more than 11,000 spaces for traveling families. Modern, climate controlled walkways provide passengers with easy and comfortable access from the parking garages to the terminals.
Passengers should allow an extra 30 minutes when traveling to Logan due to increased holiday activity.
Construction has been completed in front of Terminal C, facilitating access with the addition of almost 150 feet of available curb and clearly marked areas for bus, taxi and passenger drop-off and pick-up activity.
Sunday, December 1st, is expected to be the busiest travel day at Logan with close to 60,000 passengers traveling through the airport.
Four additional flat-screen monitors have been installed throughout the airport providing passengers with key information on how to prepare to quickly and efficiently pass through the newly-federalized security checkpoints.
As always, passengers can log onto www.massport.com for the latest flight information, construction updates and travel tips.
