I-90 (MassPike) East
Nighttime Highway Closure

I-90 (MassPike) East between Exit #22 (Prudential Center/Copley Square) and South Boston will be closed nights Monday, January 30, 2006 and Tuesday, January 31, 2006 from 10:00 PM until 5:00 AM the following morning. Direct access to the Ted Williams Tunnel from Frontage Road, and South Boston will remain open.

All traffic will be directed off the Turnpike at Copley Square onto Stuart Street. Drivers should follow the posted detour route on Stuart Street, Arlington Street, and Herald Street and continue following the posted detour signs to their destinations, as indicated below:

To I-90 East/South Boston/Logan Airport: Turn right onto Albany Street. Continue south on Albany Street and use the Ramp to I-90 East from the Albany Street Connector.

Nighttime Ramp Closures

Access from Frontage Road and Albany Street to I-90 East and Logan Airport will be closed Wednesday and Thursday nights, February 2 and 3 from 10:00 PM until 5:00 the following morning.

Motorists destined for I-90 East, South Boston and Logan Airport should follow Frontage Road North to Atlantic Avenue to Summer Street and D Street.

Electronic signs and police details will be deployed to help guide motorists.

I-93 South Exits 24A and B to Government Center and Callahan Tunnel
Nighttime Ramp Closures

The Exit ramp from I-93 South to Government Center and the Callahan Tunnel (Exit 24 A and Exit 24 B) will be closed at night Monday, January 30, 2006 through Wednesday, February 1 from 10:30 PM to 5:00 AM the next morning.

Motorists will be detoured to Exit 20A, South Station. From there drivers trying to access Government Center should follow the posted detour via Atlantic Avenue while drivers heading to East Boston and Logan Airport will be detoured to the Ted Williams Tunnel via or Summer Street.

I-93 North at Exit #20 to I-90 (Masspike) East
Nighttime Ramp Closure

The ramp at I-93 North Exit #20 to I-90 East will be closed nights, Wednesday, February 1, 2006 and Thursday, February 2, 2006 from 10:00 PM until 5:00 AM the next morning. Access to Kneeland Street/South Station will remain open.

Drivers headed for I-90 East and the Ted Williams Tunnel should use Exit #20 to Kneeland Street/ South Station and follow the signs to I-90 East via Atlantic Avenue and Summer Street.
