Due to expected heavy passenger volume during the February school vacation week, parking at Logan Airport will be limited. Massport encourages the traveling public to use other means of transportation to get to and from the airport. Massport has announced that effective Friday, February 18 through Sunday, February 27, fare prices on round trip Logan Express, the Airport Water Shuttle and Logan Direct Services are slashed in half to accomadate travelers during the busy travel week.
The purchase of a round trip Logan Express ticket, normally $14.00, will cost only $7.00. In order to take advantage of the Logan Express discount, passengers must be dropped-off (kiss & ride) at one of the Logan Express sites in Braintree, Framingham or Woburn, where they will receive a coupon for half-off a round trip fare.
The Airport Water Shuttle, serving Rowes Wharf in downtown Bostons financial district, has reduced round trip fares from $20.00 to $10.00. The Water Shuttle departs Rowes Wharf for Logan every 15 minutes. Tickets are sold on board the vessel.
Logan Direct, serving Hyannis, Sagamore, Plymouth and Rockland, has also cut round trip fares in half. Most trips bypass downtown Boston, utilizing the Ted Williams Tunnel. Daily and weekend schedule and rates vary, but generally hourly service from Cape Cod to Logan is provided.
