The Department of Transportation's Federal Aviation Administration recently presented awards to two Massport employees in recognition of their outstanding efforts regarding safety at Logan International Airport.

Airport Shift Manager Joseph E. Guarino was presented the Flight Standards Service Good Friend Award for his many years of service as Massport's liaison to the FAA and for his development and management of Logan's foreign object debris prevention program which keeps the airfield clear of potentially dangerous materials.

Airport Supervisor Louise Knox Cali was honored for her many years of dedicated service throughout her aviation career and for her continued support to the flying public.
