- The single lane segment of I-90 East in South Boston, leading to the Ted Williams Tunnel, will be closed and detoured at night Wednesday, January 3, 2007 and Thursday, January 4, 2007 from 8 PM to 5 AM the next morning. Drivers will be detoured at Exit 24B, I-93 North, and should follow I-93 to Exit 23, Government Center, and then follow the posted detour signs via Cross Street to the Callahan Tunnel.
- I-90 Eastbound traffic will be detoured at Exit 22 (Prudential Center / Copley Square exit), at 11:00 PM to 5:00 AM the next morning. Traffic will be detoured to Stuart Street, to Arlington Street, to Herald Street, to Albany Street, to Frontage Road southbound, to South Boston Bypass Road, to Ramp A and onto I-90 Eastbound and the Ted Williams Tunnel. This closure will occur on Wednesday, January 3, 2007 and Thursday, January 4, 2007.
These closures are to allow for continued I-90 East tunnel repair.
