Despite the recent blizzard throughout the northeast which caused Boston Logan Airport International Airport to close on Sunday, January 23, the airport reopened on Monday, January 24, with two runways allowing for planes to take off and land. Diligent Logan operations- staff continue to move and melt snow from the airfield in order for additional runways to open throughout the course of the day and evening.
All concessions at the airport are also opened to minimize the inconvenience to travelers.
Travelers are encouraged to check with airlines for flight information prior to arriving at Logan.
