AirTran Airways, America's second largest low-fare airline, will extend its Boston-Atlanta service on Friday, April 11, 2003 adding a fourth flight out of Terminal D at 6:00A.M.
Also, AirTran Airways will commence new service between Philadelphia and Boston starting May 21, 2003. The airline will offer two daily flights between the two cities, with fares as low as $59 one-way. AirTran will use Boeing 717 jet aircraft.
Currently, AirTran has 10 daily flights out of Logan, seven to Baltimore and three to Atlanta, with connecting flights to other destinations.
