In an effort to make the bid solicitation process more efficient for both bidders and the Agency, the Massachusetts Port Authority (Massport) has adopted an electronic bidding process through
Bid Express ( ) for all goods and services handled by Massport’s Purchasing Department. www.bidexpress.com
This process will be a two-way service, publishing bid-related information from Massport to the bidding community, and allowing online, secure bid submission from the bidding community back to Massport.
HOW IT WORKS:
Currently bidders use Massport’s “
Bid and Opportunities” web page to access bidding opportunities. Once the electronic bid process is implemented later this year, Massport’s “Bid and Opportunities” web page will link bidders directly to the Bid Express portal so bids can be submitted electronically. www.bidexpress.com
