Mystic Piers 48/49/50

Together, Mystic Piers 48, 49 & 50 compose a waterfront bulk cargo terminal just east of the Tobin Bridge, covering approximately three and one half acres. Located in the Mystic River DPA, the site has been used since the 1980s to import, store and distribute salt.

Features include: a paved area with rip rap slope, a berth structure of masonry bulkhead with solid fill, and berthing space of approximately 100x 400 with a deck height of 18 and a 35 foot deep water at Mean Low Water( MLW).

The Medford Street Terminal is made up of the former Revere Sugar Refinery and Somerville Lumber warehouse properties. Features include: warehouse/office space, a paved area, a gravel area and a dock serving a 40 foot deep-water berth at MLW.
