Parking & Services

Parking for the 2007 cruise season is generally available at the BRA-EDIC (Boston Redevelopment Authority-Economic Development Industrial Corporation) Marine Industrial Park garage, a five-story, indoor parking facility owned by the City of Boston and operated by EDIC. It is located across from the Black Falcon Cruise Terminal. Embarking cruise guests holding valid cruise tickets will receive a special rate of $14 per day. Payments of cash, Visa, or MasterCard are accepted.

The garage has a vehicle height limit of 6’10” with additional availability for oversize vehicles and motor homes. Ample parking is available with NO RESERVATIONS REQUIRED. In the event that long-term parking is not available in the garage, Massport representatives will direct passengers to an alternative parking location when you arrive at the terminal. Security patrols the parking garage 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Upon Departure: Proceed first to Black Falcon Cruise Terminal. Drop off luggage and passengers in the designated areas. Proceed to parking by exiting the Black Falcon Cruise Terminal, turning left onto Black Falcon Avenue, then right onto Designer Center Way. The garage is directly across from the Boston Design Center.

Black Falcon Transportation

Cruiseport Boston, operating at the Black Falcon Cruise Terminal in the South Boston Waterfront District, is one of the most popular cruise ports in North America for a very good reason  its proximity to the City of Boston. To help passengers make the most of their Port of Call, a first class, round-trip shuttle is now in operation to get you where you're going safely, efficiently, and comfortably.

Operated by Brush Hill / Gray Line / Beantown Trolley, the shuttle offers transportation on Port of Call days to some of Bostons best destinations, such as: the New England Aquarium, located on Central Wharf on Bostons vibrant Waterfront; Faneuil Hall Marketplace, the seat of American history and the site of one of America's most famous shopping and dining experiences and Copley Square, home to Trinity Church, the elegant and upscale Copley Place Mall; and adjacent to trendy Newbury Street.

Shuttles depart every 15 minutes from the Cruise Terminal on Port of Call days, approximately from the time passengers are first allowed to leave their vessel, until the time advertised by the vessel as the last opportunity to re-board.

FARE SCHEDULE FOR TROLLEY SHUTTLE:
April through August: $8.00 one way $12.00 round trip
September & October: $10.00 one way $15.00 round trip

** Tickets and information is available within the Black Falcon Cruise Terminal. Brush Hill / Gray Line / Beantown Trolley personnel will be on site to assist all passengers and will provide escort to Trolleys and Coaches.

Public Transportation

The closest MBTA subway station to Cruiseport Boston’s Black Falcon Terminal is South Station on the Red Line which is about a mile away.

Getting to the cruise terminal from South Station is easily done by taking a taxi or the MBTA’s Silver Line Rapid Transit Service (the SL2 route, and getting off at the Black Falcon Avenue and Design Center Place stop). Taxis also serve the Black Falcon Terminal during ship calls.


Amenities

Restrooms, pay phones, and baggage pickup and drop-off are available. There are no facilities available for storage of baggage or personal items
