Central Garage Project Summary
The expansion of the Central Garage is the major piece of a decade long modernization project by Massport to improve parking at Logan Airport.
The completion of the West Garage addition in 1999 expanded Logan's available parking by 3,000 spaces at Logan. At the same time, the first two climate controlled covered walkways were constructed that connected Terminals A and E with the central parking complex -- making it significantly easier for passengers to transit from cars to flights.
New surface lots opened at Terminal E made another 550 spaces available.
And besides these structural improvements, Massport has also launched a series of new time-saving, customer-service features to make parking even easier and more convenient.
