Everything you always wanted to know about Massport – and some things you didn’t know you wanted to know
Massport is an independent public agency and we will work to facilitate journalists’ requests and assist them by providing clear and accurate information in a timely manner. We will strive to meet your deadline, but the more advance notice you give us the more likely we will be able to fulfill your requests for interviews with Massport personnel, or provide information that requires research to obtain. The top priority of the Authority, however, is the safe, secure and efficient operation of our facilities. The safety of the traveling public and smooth flow of people, goods and services through our facilities will not be compromised to grant media requests.
Massport owns and operates three airports: Boston Logan International Airport, Hanscom Field, and Worcester Regional Airport; in the Port of Boston, Massport owns and operates the container cargo Conley Terminal and the Black Falcon Cruise Terminal at Cruiseport Boston, both in South Boston. The Moran Terminal is currently leased to Boston Autoport for the import and distribution of automobiles.
In addition, Massport owns, manages, or ground leases approximately 585 acres of maritime, industrial, and commercial waterfront property (including both land and water area) in South Boston, East Boston and Charlestown.
Massport’s Media Relations team has still photographs and video of its facilities available for use by media with the understanding the media outlet will credit the photographer listed and the Massachusetts Port Authority when the images are published or broadcast. Contact us for details.
