South Boston Waterfront Traffic Advisory; Westbound traffic on Congress Street from the D street intersection to the Northern Avenue intersection will be detoured 

To facilitate the removal of a tower crane from the Marriott Renaissances construction site, Congress Street, from the D Street intersection to the Northern Avenue intersection, will be closed to westbound traffic starting Thursday, January 11, 2007 through Saturday, January 20.

Congress Street westbound vehicles (at Northern Avenue) should continue west on Northern Avenue to D Street southbound, turn left onto D Street. At the next traffic signal, turn right (west) onto Congress Street and proceed to your destination.
