Please be advised that the Turnpike Authority has announced that the Ted Williams Tunnel westbound will be closed Wednesday, November 15, 2006 from 11:59 PM to 5 AM Thursday morning.
All traffic will be detoured to the Sumner Tunnel. Motorists destined for I-90 (Masspike) West and I-93 South should keep right and take the Storrow Drive ramp and then follow signs to the I-93 South on-ramp at Leverett Circle.
This closure is to allow for continued tunnel inspection/repair and signage and line striping work.
