Thanksgiving Holiday Travel Expected To Be Heavy At Logan Airport; Parking Will Be Available .2.19
11/17/2005
Traditionally, the three days before Thanksgiving, (Monday, November 21, through Wednesday, November 23), and the following Sunday after, (November 27) are busy travel days at Logan International Airport. Airlines are projecting load factors up to 100 percent on these days.
While passenger traffic will be heavy at times, Massport is not expecting any major parking problems although getting to and from the airport could be very busy.
Massport encourages travelers to check with the airlines for first hand flight information before leaving for Logan Airport and to consider using Logan Express bus service from Framingham, Peabody, Woburn and Braintree and take advantage of special discount offers. In addition, active military personnel traveling in uniform may ride for free on any Logan Express service through June 30. For more information call 1-800-23-LOGAN, log onto
