The Massachusetts Port Authority (Massport) today announced the selection of Boston-based CerconeBrownCurtis as the Authority's new ad agency of record. The firm will support Massport's marketing and advertising activities at Boston Logan International Airport; the Port of Boston, including Cruiseport Boston; L.G. Hanscom Field and Worcester Regional Airport.
"CerconeBrownCurtis was selected in part because we found them to be smart and diligent in their research and innovative in their strategic thinking," said Massport's Director of Strategic Communications & Marketing Danny Levy. "We look forward to applying their talents to our efforts to leverage the connections and competitive advantages between Logan Airport, the Port of Boston and Cruiseport Boston."
Massport issued a Request for Proposals for a marketing and advertising agency in June 2008 and received nine responses. CerconeBrownCurtis was selected by a committee formed to evaluate responses based upon the respondent's qualifications and experience. Massport and CerconeBrownCurtis will enter into a three year agreement totaling $1.6 million annually, with two additional option years at the same cost.
