The Massachusetts Port Authority (Massport) today announced that the Executive Office of Environmental Affairs, Massachusetts Environmental Policy Act Office (MEPA) will hold a public meeting to receive comments on the 2003 Logan Airport Environmental Data Report (EDR) and the draft scope for the 2004 Environmental Status and Planning Report. In addition, the MEPA review period for the EDR has been extended to August 30, 2004.
The EDR provides a snapshot of activity levels at Logan in 2003 as well as a status report on the planning, design and construction of airport projects. The EDR also assesses 2003 environmental conditions and tracks Massport's mitigation commitments. The complete EDR is available by clicking

The public meeting will be held on Tuesday, August 24, 2004, from 4:00-6:00 pm at Massport's offices located at the Logan Office Center, One Harborside Drive in East Boston. Parking is available at the outside Lot B adjacent to the Logan Office Center. Anyone wishing to attend the meeting and or to park in the parking lot should plan to arrive up to 15 minutes early with a picture ID in order to be processed by security.
