The Authority has prepared a Request for Information (RFI) that describes the Authority’s intention to acquire and install an above water, radar-based, intrusion detection system at Massport Maritime Facilities located at Black Falcon Cruise Terminal and Conley Container Terminal and discusses Evaluation Criteria and other requirements for the RFI. The full RFI will be available to interested parties beginning Wednesday, March 13, 2013 via email by contacting Susan Brace at sbrace@massport.com.
Submissions in response to the RFI will be evaluated on the basis of:
(1) The extent to which the points of information and questions presented in the Authority’s RFI are thoroughly and clearly answered; and (2) the ability to provide a Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS), real-time, radar-based, maritime vessel detection and tracking system which functions in all-weather conditions, including day and night operation. This system would be IP based and integrate to existing IP network infrastructure. The system should have the ability to integrate with new or existing IP based CCTV systems.
