The Authority is seeking a multi-disciplined Consultant or Team of Consultants (the Consultants) to provide professional engineering services related to the rehabilitation and upgrade of the drives of cranes 5 and 6 at Conley Container Terminal. The Consultant shall demonstrate expertise in crane drive assessment, modifications and repairs. The scope of services shall include preliminary design, final design, bid and construction phase services and resident engineering services. Massport purchased the two Kocks low profile cranes, cranes 5 & 6, from the Port of Oakland in mid 2010. The cranes were commissioned in late 2010, and put into operation at Conley Terminal in early 2011. A copy of the cranes’ condition assessment report, dated 11/5/2009, prepared for the Authority by Lifttech Consultants, Inc., is available to interested parties beginning Friday, August 31, 2012, by contacting Ms. Susan Brace at 617 568 5961 or sbrace@massport.com. |
