| Scope of Work |
The scope of work shall consist of assisting Massport in its stormwater management program including compliance with the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System regulations, stormwater monitoring, and implementing pollution control and prevention initiatives at all Massport facilities. Due to thecomplexities of Massport facilities, which include Logan International Airport, Hanscom Field, Worcester Regional Airport, Boston Fish Pier, Conley Container Terminal, and other Boston port properties, it is in Massport's interest to retain the services of a responsive project team that can function as an extension of Massport’s environmental staff and work constructively with Massport staff, tenants, and regulators. The
total contract amount will be $750,000 and the work shall be assigned on a work order basis. The scope of work shall include but shall not be limited to the following:
Stormwater sampling, reporting, plan preparation, training, and inspections required by NPDES permits and other stormwater related services such as 1) implementing sampling and analysis programs necessary to assess potential stormwater impacts; 2) preparation of agency filings including permit applications; 3) dyetesting; 4) analysis, problem-solving, and engineering design services related to pollution control, stormwater treatment, or facility BMPs; 5) assisting Massport in agency negotiations and communications; 6) analysis of
new regulations; 7) review of bid documents for construction projects; 9) preparation of stormwater plans, 10) TMDL analyses, and 10) other stormwater and water quality related tasks that may arise. |
