 News Background Checks Massport is requesting that all commercial ground carriers---that means limo and van firms---who do not already do so, conduct a thorough background check, including a review of legally available criminal background information, of all current and future employees who come in contact with the traveling public at Logan International Airport. Taxi drivers at Logan already undergo background checks by the city of Boston when they obtain a hackney license from the Boston Police Department. |
