Westbound I-90/Ted Williams Tunnel Ramp at Exit 24 in South Boston Opens to I-93 North and South Traffic

November 22, 2006

The Massachusetts Port Authority (Massport) announced today that the Turnpike Authority has re-opened the Westbound I-90/Ted Williams Tunnel ramp at exit 24 in South Boston to I-93 North and South traffic. The opening of Exit 24 provides direct access to I-93 from Boston Logan International Airport.

To help ease traffic impacts associated with the ongoing repairs to the I-90 Connector Tunnel, Massport encourages travelers to Boston Logan to consider alternative transportation to the airport when appropriate and to monitor www.flylogan.com for updated roadway information. For more information on traveling to and from Boston Logan call 1-800-23-LOGAN and for parking information tune into1650 AM on the radio. For up-to-date I-90 roadway information, tune to Turnpike Radio 1700 AM on your radio.
