Labor Day Travel Advisory

With the end of summer and business travelers returning to our nation's airports, Massport is preparing for heavy passenger travel at Boston Logan International Airport.

To help ease traffic impacts associated with the closure of the I-90 Connector Tunnel, Massport is encouraging travelers to Boston Logan to consider alternative transportation to the airport when appropriate and to monitor www.flylogan.com for updated roadway information and parking availability.

Working closely with the airlines, the Massachusetts State Police and our transportation partners, Massport will continue to provide the following services to the traveling public:

Provide travelers with public transportation options via our website.
Provide the airlines with updated traffic information in order that they may update their passengers via their websites and blast mailings.
Add additional Logan Express buses to accommodate increased ridership.
Add additional buses to the on-airport routes to the MBTA station to cover increased ridership on the Blue Line.
Increase the frequency of courtesy buses between the Water Shuttle and the terminals.
Add additional State Police officers at curbside to assist travelers using public transportation.
Provide traffic advisory leaflets to arriving passengers in each terminal to direct them to the best mode of transportation suited for their needs.
