 News Pride Of Americas Visit to Boston Changes Course; Massport Regretfully Cancels Neighborhood Events June 16, 2005 Norwegian Cruise Lines the Pride of America, originally scheduled to sail into Boston Harbor and past Castle Island on Sunday, June 19th at 1:30 PM, is now scheduled to sail past Castle Island at about noon. In light of the change in itinerary, the Massport sponsored community event at Castle Island to welcome the Pride of America is cancelled. Although Massport was unable to reschedule the services of the many volunteer organizations involved in planning this event, Castle Island continues to be an ideal location to view the vessel and her escorts as she is guided to the North Jetty. |
