Tobin Bridge Traffic Advisory
Redecking Project On Schedule; Lane reopening expected Friday, June 24

June 20, 2005

The Massachusetts Port Authority announced today that the $7 million phase 1 of the Tobin Bridges $30 million Redecking Project to rehabilitate the upper and lower roadways in the old and current-Toll Plaza areas which began in February and required multiple lane closures is on schedule. On Friday, June 24, following morning rush hour, Southbound Lanes 8 and 9 on the right/west side of the Upper Level Toll plaza will reopen and the jersey barrier protection will move over to the left to Lane 10. The single lane closure for Lane 10 will remain in effect until the redecking is complete. Expected date of completion of the redecking project is July 2006.

All lane closures and/or openings are weather permitting.
