 News Massport Extends Public Comment Period for L.G. Hanscom Field Runway 5/23 Safety Area Improvement Project; Public comment period for ENF extended to October 14, 2005 September 20, 2005 The Massachusetts Port Authority (Massport) announced that it has extended the public comment period for the L.G. Hanscom Field Runway 5/23 Safety Area Improvement Project Environmental Notification Form (ENF) filed with the Executive Office of Environmental Affairs, Massachusetts Environmental Policy Act Office (MEPA) to Friday, October 14, 2005. The MEPA public consultation session for the project is scheduled for Monday, September 26, 2005 at 5:00 PM at the second floor of the Civil Air Terminal at Hanscom Field, Lincoln MA. MEPA will also host a site walk of the runway ends that afternoon at 3:30 PM. Members of the public are welcome to attend the site walk and should contact Dorothy Connolly Steele at Massports Office of Government and Community Affairs no later than Friday, September 23, 2005, at 617-568-3705 or e-mail at dsteele@massport.com for more information.
