 News FAA Navigational Equipment Operational at this Time; Massport Thanks Customers for Their Patience October 12, 2005 Massport understands the importance of timely service, particularly in our industry, and apologize for the inconveniences our passengers have experienced. In appreciation of our customers patience, Massport and our airport concessionaires are offering a 10% discount on all food and non-alcoholic beverages at the airport through Friday, October 14, 2005. The malfunctioning radar system which slowed flights in and out of Logan recently has been pinpointed to an antenna as the probable cause. The issue with the FAA Navigational Equipment has been corrected with a replacement antenna. Massport continues to encourage the traveling public to check with their airlines throughout the day for flight status before leaving for Logan and to consider using alternative transportation to the airport.
