 News Airport Blue Line Station will be Closed Friday, July 8th through Sunday, July 10th; Massport will provide Shuttle Bus Service between Airport and Maverick MBTA Stations July 7, 2005 The MBTA has announced that at approximately 9:00 PM on Friday, July 8th, and continuing through the end of service (1:00 AM) on Sunday, July 10th, the Airport Blue Line Station will be CLOSED to accommodate ongoing Central Artery project work. To accommodate Logan Airport passengers, Massport will provide free shuttle bus service between Maverick Station and Logan Airport terminals. Another option for Logan Airport travelers is the Silver Line. For $1.25 customers can take advantage of Silver Line service to Logan Airport from South Station. Airport-bound Silver Line vehicles depart every ten minutes between 7:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. on weekdays. After 8:00 p.m. and on weekends, the service will be available every fifteen minutes. Normal Blue Line service will resume at approximately 5:00 a.m. on Monday, July 11. |
