 News Tobin Bridge Traffic Advisory; Reduced Lanes on Northbound Level March 23, 2004 Beginning Sunday, March 28 from 9:00 pm to 5:00 a.m. and continuing for three consecutive evenings, a portion of the lower roadway (northbound) of the Tobin Bridge will temporarily be reduced from three lanes to one lane. The lower level lane reduction will cover the area from B13, at the Little Mystic span, northbound to the old toll plaza for the installation of jersey barriers and road striping related to the ongoing Tobin Bridge painting project. During this period, two lanes will remain open for travel between 5:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m. The evening work is expected to be completed by Wednesday morning at 5:00 a.m. when two lanes will remain open through the fall. |
