 News Tobin Bridge Traffic Advisory; Temporary Lane Closures in Effect This Weekend and Next Week 12/28/04 Temporary lane closures on both the upper and lower levels of the Tobin Bridge will be in effect this weekend and part of next week. From 11:00 p.m., Sunday evening, January 2, until 5:00 a.m., Monday January 3, toll lanes eight and nine on the upper level will be closed to allow for elevator repair work. For three nights beginning on Tuesday, January 4 through Thursday, January 6 from 9:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m., there will be alternating double lane closures on the lower level of the Tobin Bridge. These alternating lane closures are required in connection with the bridge signage project and will not conflict with the ongoing Mass Highway project at the Fourth Street exit. One lane on the lower level will remain open at all times. All lane closures are weather permitting. |
