News Airtran Begins Non-Stop Service To Akron / Canton And Newport News / Williamsburg In June March 12, 2004 AirTran Airways, one of Americas largest low-fare airlines, will begin new daily non-stop service from Logan International Airport to Akron-Canton Regional Airport and Newport News-Williamsburg International Airport starting on Monday, June 5, 2004 from Terminal D. Flights to Akron-Canton will depart from Logan at 1:35p.m. and 6:35p.m. Flights to Newport News-Williamsburg will depart from Logan at 8:55a.m. and 6:25p.m.
