News Airline Moving Dates May 15, 2003 Beginning Monday, May 19, 2003, travelers departing from Terminal E will be greeted with a spectacular new departure hall, expanded shopping and dining options and a new two-level roadway which separates arriving and departing traffic. The departure hall has nearly three times as many check-in positions as the original facility. It will also be equipped with technology that will give the airlines the flexibility to check-in passengers from every airline position in the terminal. The airlines in Terminal E will begin shifting their check-in operation to the new ticketing hall on May 19, 2003. The schedule for the airline shift to the new departure hall is as follows: Date Airline May 19 Northwest Airlines Virgin Atlantic May 20 British Airways Aer Lingus May 21 Iceland Air TACA May 22 Lufthansa May 23 SATA Charters June 17 Swissair Alitalia Travelers departing from Terminal E should follow the roadway signs to the terminal or parking garage. When you arrive at the terminal Massport volunteers will help direct you to your airline's new location. The transition to the new departure hall will be completed by the end of June.
