 News Logan Modernization Roadway Change July 31, 2003 On Friday, August 1, Massport will open a new section of curb and roadway at the lower level of the Terminal E. The new passenger pick-up lane will be located immediately next to the terminal. The new curb space will be used for passenger pick-up, Logan Express buses and private bus services. This change will allow travelers to get picked up closer to the terminal entrance/exit and reduce the walking distance between the curbs and the terminal. Massport buses, shared vans and rental car buses will remain in their current curb locations. The new curb space had previously been used for construction staging for the International Gateway Project at Terminal E. Phase I of the International Gateway, a new ticketing hall, retail court and two-level roadway opened in May 2003. |
