MBTA bus replacement service will operate between Wonderland and Maverick Stations during the weekend of June 7/8 and the weekend of June 14/15

June 11, 2003

To accommodate the removal of temporary roadways in the area of Airport Station by the Central Artery Project's contractor, MBTA bus replacement service will operate between Wonderland and Maverick Stations during the weekend of June 7/8 and the weekend of June 14/15, resulting in the temporary weekend close of the Wonderland, Revere Beach, Beachmont, Suffolk Downs, Orient Heights, Wood Island and Airport MBTA Stations. Blue Line service will be replaced with shuttle bus service which will stop at each station, excluding Airport Station, and will operate in accordance with regular train schedules. While shuttle buses are free, standard fares will be collected at Maverick, Aquarium, State and Government Center Stations. Normal Blue Line service will resume at the start of service each Monday.

To help make this interruption easier, Massport will operate shuttle buses between Maverick Station and Logan Airport terminals for travelers. Please allow an additional 15-20 minutes to your commuting time.
