Airtran to Start Boston To Philadelphia Service; Low-Fare Carrier Expands Logan Service

AirTran Airways, America's second largest low-fare carrier, will launch two daily non-stop flights between Boston and Philadelphia on Wednesday, May 21, 2003.

AirTran operates out of Terminal D and will use Boeing 717 jet aircraft for the seven day a week service out of Logan International Airport. Flights depart at 7:00a.m. and 6:20p.m.

Currently, AirTran has 11 daily round trip flights out of Logan, seven to Baltimore and four to Atlanta, with connecting flights to other destinations.
