 News Tobin Bridge Opens 2nd Fast Lane; Friday, November 9, at 6 a.m. 11/08/2001 Massport will open a second dedicated electronic-toll Fast Lane on the Tobin Bridge, Friday, November 9 beginning at 6 a.m. This second lane will operate on the left side of the currently-used Fast Lane. The success of the first Fast Lane at expediting traffic flow led to the opening of a second lane for increased customer service. No cash will be accepted in either of these lanes. Electronic payment is through the Fast Lane Program's transponder. Applications for transponders are available at toll booths. |
