 News Baggage Carts, Lockers and Long Term Storage Concession; Request For Qualifications 6/25/2001 The Massachusetts Port Authority (Authority), owner and operator of Boston Logan International Airport, (Airport) invites Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) and expressions of interest from qualified firms, organizations or concession operators interested in entering into a non-exclusive Concession Agreement for the provision and operation of Baggage Carts, Lockers and Staffed Long Term Storage services at selected locations at Bostons Logan International Airport. The term of the Agreement shall be for a period of five years. The contract term shall commence in the fall of 2001. Copies of the sealed SOQ must be received by the Authority at or prior to, 2:00 p.m. local time on Monday, July 16, 2001 at the office of : Mr. Michael Grieco, Assistant Secretary-Treasurer Massachusetts Port Authority Logan Office Center One Harborside Drive, Suite 200S East Boston, MA. 02128-2909 The Authority is soliciting competitive SOQs pursuant to a determination that such a process best serves the interests of the Authority and the general public and not because of any legal requirement to do so. The Authority reserves the right to accept or to reject any or all SOQs, to withdraw or amend this Request for Qualifications at anytime, to initiate negotiations with one or more Respondents, to modify or amend with the consent of the Respondents any SOQ prior to acceptance, to waive any informality and to effect any agreement otherwise, all as the Authority in its sole judgement may deem to be in its best interest.
