 Massport Media Advisory 9/11/2001 12:45 p.m. Logan International Airport is closed until further notice. Massport has activated the emergency response plan for Logan Airport. Massport cannot confirm any flight information at this point. As soon as more information becomes available we will notify the press about briefing times. In the interim, Massport has opened a family assistance center in the event that flights from Logan were involved in today's events. The family assistance center is located at the Airport Hilton Hotel. The center is not open to the press and state police will restrict access. In addition, American Airlines and United Airlines have established family emergency assistance numbers: American Airlines: 1-800-245-0999 United Airlines: 1-800-932-8555 Family members may also call Massport at 1-617-568-3100. Massport will open a media center at the Logan Airport Hyatt Hotel at 1:30 P.M. Members of the press should park in Lot B (to the right of the Hyatt entrance). |
