Construction Update

Terminal B

Massport and BAA Boston (owner and operator of the award-winning AIRMALL® concept) have teamed up to offer travelers the perfect balance of international brand names, local shop favorites and an array of restaurants in Pier A at Logan.  Aimed at remodeling the terminal area to offer the traveling public with a wide array of new and updated retail and dining options, the construction project is showing great progress.

Here is the latest on the Pier A project (expected to be completed by late spring 2008):

NOW OPEN:

  • Legal C Bar is a quick-serve bar and seafood restaurant, featuring oversized, flat panel TVs and nice raw bar selection.
  • Todd English’s Bonfire opened its second location in Boston.
  • A variety of Food Court delights, including,  Ryo Asian Fusion (with Sushi Bar and bar drinks also available), UFood Grill, McDonald’s, Cosi and Villa Pizza, offering travelers a host of options for a quick bite.
  • The Food Court seats up to 250 hungry travelers.  The dining area is inviting with front-row window seats overlooking the airfield activity.

STILL TO COME:

A host of nationally recognized brands will offer travelers plenty of choices for their palates.  These brands include Au Bon Pain, Dunkin’ Donuts, Starbucks and Hudson News, all located pre-security.

In addition (and located after security), the airport will house fine retail stores such as Local Charm, where unique and affordable jewelry will be displayed; international goodies at Duty Free Americas; Cosmetic & Fragrance Center with skin and body products for all travelers; Johnston & Murphy; Virgin Books; Tech Showcase; Cisco Brew Pub; and Sunglass Hut

Stay tuned as the construction continues throughout the next several months at Logan.  Thank you for your patience throughout the construction process.
